These bagels keep coming up on my newsfeed and I figured I’d give them a try. Pretty easy to make. (Recipe ) I can’t say they were the prettiest bagels ever made Haha. But I have learned it is easier to just make a ball and then make a hole. Or no hole and they are more biscuit like. They are bagel like, if your low carbing and need your bagel fix, these will help. What’s missing? Yes the everything bagel topping. Apparently Trader Joe’s carries this (I don’t have one) or Amazon. What have I learned: easy to make, no crazy ingredients, I’m impatient with making a rope like dough, 12 minutes and voila bagelish bagels. Will I make again? Yes I probably will. I am in search of the everything bagel topping. Although you could make your own. Toasting ? Well mine were not toastable. But I bet my next batch will be. Almond butter, cream cheese, Kerrygold butter. Oh. The possibilities. Low carb maven’s~. Recipe

So this bullet proof coffee hasn’t exactly won me over. I’ve been low carbing, not really on purpose but it’s just happening by default. I’m back to very little processed food. Although I’m eating a lot of meat and veggies, more veggie than meat but you get the idea. Have you tried this? I’m starving. I talked it over with some people of many different minds. I like to keep a diverse circle. One thing was a common thought was that I’m dehydrated and/or I’m not eating enough fats. Insert. Have you tried bpc? Bullet proof coffee. Nope. It’s not going to help with dehydration but you will get your fats. Basic recipe is a tablespoon of organic butter (I used kerrygold from local Kroger’s), tablespoon of heavy whipping cream and a tablespoon of coconut oil. Add this to your hot coffee. I used my hand held immersion blender. Hmmm. This is a Different coffee experience. Stay tuned. We will discuss this more.
Another recipe is honey cinnamon and coconut oil. No cream or sugar. I like my coffee cream. Not sure I can do this one I’m sharing this great recipe for V8 juice
I just pack the cup (I use a ninja blender ) and blend. It’s a great alternative to buying store bought I haven’t been working much, with this still lovely broken hand. Ugh. I feel it’s never ending. My pecking of the keyboard is getting much better. I met with a client a few weeks ago and luckily is done via Skype and I recorded it so I could come back to it and type it up for her file. I don’t love Skype but it’s growing on me and right now I don’t have a lot of alternatives, since I have this broken wing. Improvising is really what it’s all about isn’t it? Well anyways. I have this client who was telling me about her recent weightloss break through. Fat bombs. I agree with the idea. I just don’t know that I needed it. She spoke of not only weight loss but mental clarity. Hmmm. I’ll do a secondary post about these gems. But first. The actual fat bombs. The spooky ways of Facebook presented me with a video one day. I swear I saved it but it’s lost. Algorithms are creepy. Anyhow I tried to make some. Ummm nope. I made this sugary type gooo. I can’t remember all the ingredients but I did it along with her and it turned out a mess. Coconut oil, coconut butter, coconut creme, peanut butter, stevia, and ... I feel I’m missing something. Anyways. I froze them in my fancy pampered chef herb keepers and.... Tada. Gooo. Oh I ate one with a spoon hmmm. I think I need to make a proper one, before I pass judgement. #fatbombs #fatbombfail
This is an easy Alkalizing drink
Makes 2 (8oz servings) Ingredients: 6 ounces of organic apple juice 8 ounces of filtered water 3 tablespoons of raw, organic, unfiltered, unpasturized apple cider vinegar (with the mother) juice of 1/2 organic lime (about a tablespoon) or 2 drops of lime essential oil Mix and enjoy. (source MindBodyGreen.com) It's been a summer of heat. I know, I post alot about infused water, but I really just get so tired of regular water. This actually encourages me to buy fruit too. So if I have it on hand, I will eat it. If I don't I wont. This summer has been really hot and dehydration can be very dangerous. So what does every newscaster say DRINK YOU WATER. Water, water, water. I took the boredom out of my water today and made a big pitcher with strawberries, cucumbers and lemon slices. Some of the comments and messages I've received on the facebook page which you can visit here---> GREEN SOUL WELLNESS FB *Lemon-Orange *Lemon-Lime *Blueberry-Orange-Mint leaves and Lemon I personally like the cucumber and lemon. What's your favorite combination? (repossted from 8/20) I sure think so, I have been trying to beat the heat this week. decided to try some detox infused water Some good points are that it will help keep the calories down, reduce my soda intake (lose the chemicals) and that bloaty look and feeling from the weather. It's been a lifesaver
My infused water has lemon, lime and cucumber and a drop of Young Living Peppermint oil. (Oh gosh don't do two drops its potent!) My friend Carol has cucumber, mint leaves and berries. (Maybe she will comment what they were, I forgot.) And thanks to my daughter Cassandra. I use my infused glass bottle from Oakland University (Michigan) All the time. Gave one to Carol because Sharing is Caring ;) What combinations will you come up with? Cucumbers are a great summertime snack or side dish. Lucky for me they grow like wild fire in the garden. I always have too many cucumbers. I like to soak them in rice vinegar and a little sugar. There is no recipe. I'm a dumper. Little bit of this and a little bit of that. Rice vinegar organic sugar cucumbers thinly sliced water Store covered overnight in fridge. Sure you can add onions, green peppers, red pepper flakes and so on. This is just what I do. Did you know: Cucumbers are 90% water which makes them super hydrating and also nutrient dense. You can eat more with out adding a ton of calories. Besides all that water helps flush out toxins. Very good for alkalizing the body. (reposted from 7/20) So it's all about roasting today. Another wonderful fall side dish. This week I was challenged to do a root dish. uh yeah. Let's not talk about that burnt kale ok... haha. The rest of it was delicious. If you take anything from these posts it's that nothing is perfect. I chucked the kale and ate the rest. The end. It's not the end of the world. Ingredients

This month is going to be about root vegetables and why not? It's fall. I love cooking squash and pumpkins. I would cook more if I knew what to do with them. Today I made some ginger carrots. Seriously easy peasy. Roasted Ginger Carrots
