Oh happy day. I finally received all my certifications from SWIHA (South West Institute of Healing Arts) It's been a long journey packed into a very intense program. I completed Transitional Life Coaching, last winter, Holistic Nutrition in the spring and Urban Farming & Sustainability the summer. A Diploma Program of 600+ hours. You know that feeling when it's done ... and then you see another certification you want. Right now I'm busy re-forming my business Green Soul Wellness, Changing my licenses and permits, and working with new clients, Teaching healing arts at Howe's Art Studio and a line of products. So I may just wait till things calm down a tad bit. I am continuing my education everyday I get up. There is so much to learn, if you just slow down. Chasing your dream doesn't have to be a sprint, it's a marathon. (reposted from 7/24/2016)

Today is that day.... It's my birthday. Alot has changed in the past year. I have a job (prior one was eliminated....yikes... scary times) I started classes. Apparently you can teach an old dog new tricks, my inseparable best friend died suddenly. I'm shattered. The pain in my foot is keeping me up at night, miserable during the day. It's like a toothache in my foot. It's never ending. I tried some clove and it numbed everything but the foot. aha. For my birthday I took it upon myself to splurge on me. I'm not picture perfect on nutrition everyday. It's life. I have bad foods, sometimes. sometimes more often than I should. I purchased special bakery peanut butter cookies for my birthday weekend. Upon wakening this morning I discovered the dogs had eaten them. :/
yeah soooooo. Despite all that I am still getting up everyday and moving forward. I was searching for some fancy stuff to put on my linked in resume. And I found this tweaked it a bit but I'm using it. I completed a 100 hour course in transformational coaching.
I had really hoped to have journal-ed a little better within the last few months. A tool I will recommend you do. Just don't follow my lead. I just do not do it well. It's a great reflection to look back on. In my case...That didn't happen, but let's just re-cap a little. I finished a very intense 6 month program and now a certified holistic nutritional coach. I look back and think what?!?! My final was based on several courses. As I was putting together the final portfolio I just sat there in amazement of all the stuff I've learned, all the new tools I have to use. I am really looking forward to and the next 6 months of this journey. It will be quite the ride as I am specializing with a few new subjects. Urban farming, auriculotherapy- that's a thing? My favorite, essential oils a further study, and stress reduction. - Hey I need this class now, ahaha.
