My Story Hello I'm Angela. My story begins a few years back when I became diagnosed with a "mystery" illness. To this day we still do not know what it is or how to cure it. I manage it. My doctor continued to pat me on the head, tell me to lose weight and gave me pills. Nothing more he could do. My insurance company at the time wouldn't allow me to see a specialist or get any fancy tests so.... I was left to figure it out on my own. This is when I received my degree from Google University. I can't say that I did figure out all of my mysteries, but I am managing it. I was getting worse on the meds and eventually I lost my insurance. Yeah. so I really was on my own to either give up or find a way. Oh there was plenty of giving up. But still working trial and error. The herb shop became my friend. Why not try some natural remedies, after all I was killing my liver with Tylenol and other OTC's. I should try something new. Something new? or was it really something old? I went through alot of discovery. Spending many 2 ams seeking remedies from the internet. Elimination of lots of chemically enhanced stuff, I began seeking and making my own chemically free personal care items, and we began growing our own foods. Yes I still go to the grocery store and yes I still eat crap. It's a balance. Not all day, everyday. But I'm much better at it. My home is far from little house on the prairie, but the changes I've made are good for us and I continue everyday seeking "alternative ways" to incorporate. I knew a lot about a lot of stuff but couldn't seem to put it all together myself. I didn't feel like I had all the pieces of the puzzle. I was putting in more that 40 hours a week doing research. It did become a job, or more accurate, I was working for myself, on myself. I am now the boss of myself. I decided to enroll in classes and now I'm a Holistic Wellness Practitioner. Fancy, huh? I do not recommend that people avoid conventional medical treatments. I'm here to help you and inspire you through creative holistic teachings. Once you realize how the mind, body and spirit all work together, your future picture becomes much more clearer. I'd love to work together and help you begin your journey. Don't let distance be a roadblock, if your reading this on the internet then we can connect. :)
