i ordered these itty bitty bottles with metal roller balls. Oh my these are tiny (5ml) but you know actually these are the perfect size. I always have the 10ml bottles filled with my favorites, but I think I like this size better. I’m waiting on new labels (waterproof./oilproof = no more smudged ink). But I made up this quick one yesterday for one of my educators. It’s my sickie blend of lemon, Eucalyptus, lavender, peppermint, & marjoram . Topped with a blended carrier oil. (Sunflower, almond, grape, sesame, wheat germ, olive and fractioned coconut oil. I’ve got extra if you don’t mind the brother machine made label. Haha. I don’t mind these types of Growing pains, but I do like nice labels.

When I was a child vapor rub was the magic cure all. Seriously. I lived with a vaporizer in my room nightly. Of course it was also slathered all over my chest, feet and under my nose. I have a bad obsession with vapor rub. I adore the smell of it. Or am I just smelling my childhood? A point could be made on that. Now that essential oils are part of my daily life. I was excited to find this recipe . Maybe your Seeking a less chemically relief.
6 drops Eucalyptus , 3 drops peppermint and 3 drops lemon. Mix with coconut oil. Rub on chest. I personally don’t use 6 drops of Eucalyptus for children I just use 3. Glad my staples have arrived before the weekend. I'm addicted to this Einkorn granola. I have 3 bags! (It's cheaper in purchases 3's) Thieves, my multigreens supplements (it's like a green drink in a capsule) and the tranquil roll on, so I stay calm lol. These are just a few of my favorite things from Young Living. If your interested in starting your journey with young living essential oils & More! Www.getoiling.com/greenangela
#einkorngranola #theives #youngliving #eo #multigreens #naturalsupplements #greenliving Oregano is a powerful oil. It's also a hot oil. Oh yeah. It's hot. Please heed my advice and use a carrier oil. I generally use coconut oil because it's so universal. Other oils like almond or jojoba are also acceptable. I have been researching this oil as I've heard many good things about how it kills germs (Awesome study here --->>>www.hindawi.com/journals/ecam/2011/690346/
Upper respiratory and coughs can be greatly reduced with oregano. This is my go to recipe if your ready to clear out the germs. I place it all in a roller ball and roll it on my feet, spine, & chest. It's stinky. You will sleep alone. Do not wear this to work, you may be sent home. If you want to diffuse it, obviously do not add the carrier oil. It will clog up your diffuser.
Orally. This is often a touchy subject. You need to do your own research on the benefits and/or risks of using oils this way. I put the above mixture in a gel capsule. But only if you have a top-grade, pure, ingestible form of oregano essential oil or oil of oregano. This method can provide immediate relief of your cold symptoms. I've been carrying a little more stress than I should the last few weeks. I believe I have allowed some openings for a bug to get past my immune system. Yes the door was unlocked and the germs moved in. Just great. Lots of sneezing and wheezing going on. Well in my house we don't reach for over the counter meds, often. I'm not saying never, I'm saying, I find an alternative when ever possible. I have found using the oils has greatly helped me and my family. and I enjoy passing the information along. This is the essential oil recipe that I use. For immune system support.
Alternative would be to fill a vegetable capsule with it. (you can purchase these at health food stores) My method is to take the capsule 2 times a day with a meal and a glass of water. Or every 3-4 hours to lessen the severity of the illness. Not to exceed over a week. I only recommend using Young Living Essential Oils or if the company you are using states that the oil can be used internally. Not all oils can. I use this when I am at home and am able to make the capsules. Another alternative is to diffuse the combination. It certainly doesn't smell nice, but the object here is to get any airborne germs out of your living space. The oregano is less than heavenly, ha ha. *** I have seen a few other recipes which add 2-3 drops of frankincense, I personally do not. *** I am an independent rep for Young Living and if you would like more information about the essential oils you can use this link Green Angela's Essential Oil Shop If you would like to see the entire product line this link will direct you |
