I haven’t had to deal with bribes at the grocery store in a very long time. Today I took my grandson (who just turned 1 last week) to the grocery store. He wasn’t being fussy or anything I just thought I’d give him something to do. Here hold the avocados (which are actually a fruit and not a veggie). I guess he was hungry. Haha. He didn’t seem nearly as bothered by it, as the store did. I paid for it. But boy did I get the “looks”. I am placing it in the win column as we didn’t leave with candy. It’s all good we will just have Guacamole for snack today. What has your child eaten at the store? Please tell me I’m not alone.

It's been a summer of heat. I know, I post alot about infused water, but I really just get so tired of regular water. This actually encourages me to buy fruit too. So if I have it on hand, I will eat it. If I don't I wont. This summer has been really hot and dehydration can be very dangerous. So what does every newscaster say DRINK YOU WATER. Water, water, water. I took the boredom out of my water today and made a big pitcher with strawberries, cucumbers and lemon slices. My infused water has lemon, lime and cucumber and a drop of Young Living Peppermint oil. (Oh gosh don't do two drops its potent!) My friend Carol has cucumber, mint leaves and berries. (Maybe she will comment what they were, I forgot.) And thanks to my daughter Cassandra. I use my infused glass bottle from Oakland University (Michigan) All the time. Gave one to Carol because Sharing is Caring ;) What combinations will you come up with? So it's all about roasting today. Another wonderful fall side dish. This week I was challenged to do a root dish. uh yeah. Let's not talk about that burnt kale ok... haha. The rest of it was delicious.
