Oregano is a powerful oil. It's also a hot oil. Oh yeah. It's hot. Please heed my advice and use a carrier oil. I generally use coconut oil because it's so universal. Other oils like almond or jojoba are also acceptable. Upper respiratory and coughs can be greatly reduced with oregano. This is my go to recipe if your ready to clear out the germs. I place it all in a roller ball and roll it on my feet, spine, & chest. It's stinky. You will sleep alone. Do not wear this to work, you may be sent home. If you want to diffuse it, obviously do not add the carrier oil. It will clog up your diffuser.
Orally. This is often a touchy subject. You need to do your own research on the benefits and/or risks of using oils this way. I put the above mixture in a gel capsule. But only if you have a top-grade, pure, ingestible form of oregano essential oil or oil of oregano. This method can provide immediate relief of your cold symptoms.
